Taking a vacation with the little ones can be both an epic adventure and a very stressful one. I guess it depends from person to person, and from the age of the kids. But, from my experience, if it wasn’t planned well enough it would always turn into more of a stressful event than a joyful one. This is why I never leave for a vacation with my kids unprepared. I actually sit down, map out and plan events for each day. And I do this for every location I decide to go to. Today, I’m going to share the list of things to do in Sunny Isles Beach.
All in all, my vacation there, with the kids, was brilliant. But this was only possible because I knew what we were going to do. Each day. With some leeway to repeat the things we enjoyed. We have a list of things to do in Sunny Isles Beach with your kids, that would be fun for the parents as well. I mean, this is your vacation too! Things to do in Sunny Isles Beach – fun for the whole family!
The basic idea behind these locations is for them to be fun for the entire family. If you are doing things that are fun just for the kids – it beats the purpose. You need to spend some quality time off as well. So why not pick something that would be fun for the entire gang!
This is why our list consists of things that I deemed fun for the entire family. It will elaborate on what I found fun about it, and it will be pretty mainstream. This means that you will have no issues finding it and enjoying it, hopefully, as much as I have!
Ninja Lounge
Top of the list, definitely, no competition. The ninja lounge was phenomenal! It was a bit boring for my wife, but I guess this is rather individual. I and my 10-year-old son had a blast in the place. It is like a makeshift gym with a lot of obstacles that, when you overcome them, you genuinely feel like a ninja. It is a fun physical exercise and it is certainly a place that we come back to often. You should check it out if you are moving with a big family.
I mean, there are no extraordinary activities. You can just treat this as an obstacle course where you can let your imagination run wild! We usually bring my son’s friends as well and we play different tag team games. You can also play ninja football with the obstacle course. Bottom line 10/10 would recommend!
Oleta River Outdoor Center
This place is every other weekend adventure. The place and the things you can do are quite straight forward. You either rent a bicycle, or buy one, and go for long rides out in the countryside. At least it gives the impression that you are out of the city, reminding me of the countryside I grew up in. It is a very cool activity that simply, regardless of how many times you do it, can never grow old.
The cool fact about it is that my son and myself get a lot of time to bond, talk and spend quality time together. We ride, then we make small breaks and picnics where we get to talk, a lot. With this, I can stay in touch with what’s happening in his life and I cherish each adventure we take to the Oleta River!
Haulover Park
We simply cannot make a list of things to do in Sunny Isles Beach without mentioning beaches! Who doesn’t like taking a day off and taking the kids to the beach? They can swim around, play some sports and play in the sand while you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet with a cold one. This is even better if you have a dog or dogs. Haulover Park is dog-friendly, and it will be an amazing day out for them as well unless it’s ridiculously hot.
This could be a full day adventure, starting in the morning and then moving somewhere for lunch when the sun gets the worst. Ice creams, cold beer, good food, and an amazing beach are usually a recipe for an epic day!
Things to do in Sunny Isles Beach – explore
The best part is that Sunny Isles Beach is filled with fun things to do. This is a list of a few of my favorite places, but this doesn’t mean that they are going to be yours as well. The best part about places like this is the fact that you get to explore. Just like you would explore Orlando with your family, you should explore this place as well. This is especially the case if you are relocating to Sunny Isles Beach. Then, you should take time every weekend to explore and find a potential new fun thing to do with your family.
